"Rick James Stone City Band",  R&B,SOUL, and FUNK. LaMorris Payne, aka L.A. Sky had a close musical relationship with Rick James as a member of the Stone City Band for 25 years. His credits include recording on Warner Bros. and Motown labels, with artist such as "Stevie Wonder", "Smokey Robinson", "Chaka Khan", "Eddie Murphy", "Teena Marie", "The Mary Jane Girls", and the "King of Funk", Rick James. L.A. Sky put this group together to preserve the memory of his good friend Rick James dedicating each performance to the memory of his brother by presenting the most authentic, exciting, musical and visual show, sure to please any audience.

So the legacy continues with the rise of the legendary heart and wings of the Rick James Stone City Band.

"The Legendary Drifters", The members of The Legendary Drifters hail from a variety of musical backgrounds, performing with such groups as "The Turks", "El Capitain","The Agents of Soul"; including a turn with award winning, "Stevie Wonder" and Donnie McClerken" and has worked with "The Drifters".

These gentlemen ave been known for their contribution to the community and country. Lead singer Jerry Hendrix began his career at the age of 15 providing background vocals with "The Turks" for artists Charlie Rich, Bill Justice and Bill Pinkney. Several years ago he formed the group called The Legendary Drifterswith the purpose of keeping the ageless songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's alive for all generations to enjoy. He Features the following artists Mike Slatton, while serving in the military, sang with the U.S.Army Infantry Chorus and performed for 2 sitting Presidents. Thaddies Holloway volunteered his talents by working with hospitalized veterans in nursing homes and senior living facilities and is famous for hits such as "Love Sensation" with his world reknowned sister Loleata Holloway. John Wesley Harbin (Yohon) was recruited by the group in 2008 as lead singer and tenor. He began singing at the age of 5 years and has a resume that includes an acting career in motion pictures, singing with "The Emotions", and has owned several recording studios.

 "Buscuit Miller and The Mix", a Blues, Funk, Soul band with a plethora of energy. His affable smile is his signature, whereby his new CD release is appropriately named "Blues with a Smile."

This CD is RED HOT and has climbed to #5 on the Big City Rhythm & Blues Charts. It is a must for any serious blues lover's collection. It can be found on AMAZON.com, CDBABY.com and CDMOJO.com.

"Big Dog" Mercer", hailing from Wisconsin, Mercer began his musical career in Northern Illinois. As the "Big Dog" proclaims, "it is known that the musician doesn't pick the blues, the blues picks the musician. The blues grabbed me and never let go."

2010 proved to be a momentous year for the "Big Dog" beginning with the signing of to Electro Glide Records in October.

2010 brought the release of his latest album, "Attack of the Southpaw", and the honor of having his recording on the top 60 blues songs of 2010 by "Friends of the Blues".

"Mr. Lawrence Evening", world renowned artist and impressionist, who has performed from Sydney, Australia's Opera House to Hong Kong, to Singapore, Las Vegas, and Chicago, gives a show-stopping performance.  His portrayal of Sammy Davis Jr. is stunning.

"Bustcya", This soulful , talented young man brings his "Virgin Island" roots to life.  He provides an enchanting musical rapport peppered with a touch of caribbean  reggae rap.  He captures the club scene with original music written from the heart such as "Swagga Chant" and "Milkyway".  He transports his audience directly to his Motherland through his lyrics and beat.

"Ray Buckner", Chicagoland's backstreet Blues/Folk singer and song writer,  accompanied by his accoustic  guitar provides his philisophic, down-to-earth observations of  life through his lyrics, to the delight of audiences in and around Chicago. His music projects his heart and soul......
